Parity Clause may keep "Gang Beasts" from releasing to Xbox One

Many console players probably have no clue as to what Gang Beasts is being that it's been in Early Access on Steam. Yet the funny brawler in which players use weird looking avatars to declare war upon friends has been a success over on Steam and is set to come out of Early Access and launch on both PC and consoles. Gang Beasts is confirmed to be launching on PC and PS4, but what about the Xbox One?

Well that may not be a reality as Microsoft has a parity clause which Microsoft wants non-exclusive games to launch on the same day as they would on rival consoles. For AAA and some larger indie studios, simultaneous releases may not be much of an issue as they have the resources to do have multiple version ship same day, but this seems not to be the case with Boneloaf, the developers of Gang Beasts. Hopefully there will be something worked out between Boneloaf and Microsoft or else this could be a game that is will not be coming to Xbox One.

This will most likely mean that out of the next gen consoles out currently, 2 out of the 3 will perhaps have the game, as Boneloaf is in talks with Nintendo and will most likely be porting the game over to the Switch.
